Greetings, all!
I just wanted to briefly acknowledge the first anniversary of Clinical mulch, and thank you all for subscribing and/or reading, as well as sharing and supporting my work over the last year.
A look back at the year
I made my first post on July 4th, 2022, with a discussion of abdominal diagnosis. That turned into a series of articles on the basics of Japanese meridian therapy including pulse diagnosis, point selection and location, and needle technique.
That was followed by the #ghostherbs series, which technically began with the Tiān Má post and continued on for a few more posts.
The Lurking Pathogens series was a serialized new media version of my doctoral work. It revolved around an acupuncture-based fusion of the ideas of the Warm Disease school with Nán Jīng five-phase theory, including special techniques and a detailed outline of patterns and treatments for the four levels before concluding with a look at treating the three burners.
In the midst of all that, there was an appearance on the Halloween Special Podcast by fellow needle-poker and Substacker Alexa Bradley Hulsey at Notes From Your Acupuncturist
More recent posts included the Spring series on the Liver and associated patterns including a handy graphic guide to pathomechanisms of Liver Wind.
Gratitude
And, a few posts later, here we are, at the one year mark: 50 posts, over 50,000 words published this year. I’m really grateful for all the support, so thanks again to everyone who has encouraged my little publication and helped it to grow, whether by subscribing, sharing, liking, commenting, or reading. And a Happy Independence Day to all of my readers in the U.S.A.!
All the best,
Robert Hayden, DACM, LAc
